The Marist Family

Canberra Marists are people who presently have or in the past have had links with Marist College and wish to stay more closely connected with the Marist way.

Socially, spiritually, through service or by just joining fellow Marists at a variety of activities held throughout the year. Canberra Marists is comprised of Brothers, staff, Old Boys, families and people who identify themselves as being Marist.

We Gather

Canberra Marists gather at various times throughout the year. These may include:

  • Key Marist events - Commencement Mass and Champagnat Day
  • Way of the Cross on Good Friday
  • events to explore Marist Spirituality
  • social events such as Community Carols.

Community Meals

This program sees the College working in partnership with the Kambah St Vincent de Paul Conference and Mary Help of Christians Parish in Pearce to identify the needs within the local community, and arrange delivery of meals to families in need of support. Click here to find out more.

Marist Association

Canberra Marists are the local branch of the Marist Association of St Marcellin Champagnat, which is part of a church-wide Marist spiritual family that has grown from the Marist Brothers, to include all who understand that their chosen way of being Christian is to share in the ways of Marist life and mission, inspired by St Marcellin. The Association exists to take part in Mary's work on bringing Christ-life to birth in people, and to nurture our own faith journeys in the Marist way. Click here for more information about the Association, its priorities and how you can become a member.

You are invited to join Canberra Marists and are most welcome to invite other friends and family to Canberra Marists events.
